I thought I'd show you my flawless foundation routine, I've been getting a lot of compliments about how great my foundation looks, so I broke it down for you, to show you the steps I go through every day to achieve this airbrushed look. Buffing your foundation into your skin makes it look alot more natural and ensures that no harsh lines are left behind. Using a finishing powder also completes the look, controlling shine and setting your foundation to ensure it lasts all day long. You can use any type of brand you'd like to recreate this look. If you have any questions feel free to comment or email me. ( sorry for it being so small, can't seem to make a bigger)
What brands do you use?
ReplyDeleteI use Quo primer for my primer, then I used Revlon Photoready Airbrushed Mousse foundation all over my face, If you have dry skin this is a really good foundation for you, it's a bit on the oily side. I then use Maybelline Concealer/corrector underneath my eyes and down the bridge of my nose, after blending in with a beauty blender ( joe fresh ) I take maybelline dream lumni highlighter underneath my eyes and blend it with a beauty blender, I use vanasti blush and rimmel bronzer.
ReplyDeleteWhat brand is the translucent powder?
ReplyDeleteIt's laura mercier translucent loose setting powder
DeleteWhich foundation would you recommend for oily skin?
ReplyDeleteI would try Revlon colorstay, I also have this foundation and really like it, it stays on forever and doesn't budge. Make sure you get the right shade for your skintone, their shades are a bit on the dark side, I find. Try that and tell me if you like it :) Hope I helped
Deletewhere can i get the beauty blender?
ReplyDeleteyoud can buy one on ebay. If you live in canada look for them at the superstore in the makeup section, that's where I bought mine, its joe fresh brand.
ReplyDeleteDoes this method work well with liquid foundations too? My biggest problem is getting my makeup to stay because it is super oily but if I use a powder it gets cakey and looks bad.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you need a new foundation. Try using a BB cream, Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream is more for people with oily skin, it wont look cakey either if you use powder. Your foundation might not be right for skin type
DeleteI'm light skin like you. And I always have trouble finding the right Color what shades you use for foundation, highlighter.and concealer.?
ReplyDeleteMy skin is more of an olive tone, I always try and go for the middle shades when it comes to foundation, like beige. With highlighter and concealer, just pick something thats lighter then your skin tone
DeleteWhy are you covering your flawless skin with makeup! You don't need it!
ReplyDeleteawwwh thank you so much, that's so sweet. I perfer to say I'm enhancing my skin rather then covering it up.
DeleteI love your response I completely agree

ReplyDeleteI used Nude, and is the perfect shade, it highlights just right. I'm in love with it. Salmon colors are better for covering up dark circles, my circles on that bad so I was looking for something to highlight rather then concealer. If you feel this is to pink for your skintone try the ivory or the nude.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me more about step #2. The brush you use for this and all the details. Love the look!
ReplyDeleteUse a stippling brush, you buff the foundation into your skin, so by buffing I mean doing fast, circluar motions with the brush. I use a kabuki brush to do this as well. Thanks so much
DeleteYou have seriously gorgeous skin! Great pic tutorial!
ReplyDeleteThank you so. Such for posting this! I can not wait to try this technique out. I currently only have or ever had a foundation and Concealer. I usually purchase estee Lauder in the light/medium Concealer and the pebbles foundation. I have oily skin as well but I think I may be a little darker complected. Could you give me the names of the products, the pic is small, and the shades you use so I have something to go off of while on my new product hunt? :-)
ReplyDeleteAuto correct took its toll, "thank you so much for posting this!"
ReplyDeleteWhat shad of the Revlon foundation do you use and concealer?
ReplyDeleteYou should try all natural skin creams and makeup, go to www.skinatureinc.com they are great.
ReplyDeleteWhats a good foundation that gives full coverage for skin thats a little more dry and tends to flake a little around the nose area.. Im really fair and i cant seem to find a good foundation!
