WISHLIST - Skincare Aglore

So this week I've been focusing a lot on skincare, my skin has been horribly dry and flaky, making me feel itchy all over. My eye area has been extremely dry, flaking and red, it was swollen because I was itching my eyes so badly, now they're just red and flaky, so I was looking for different creams to fix this little issue I've been having, and that got me thinking about overall skincare. I'll stop boring you with my flaky eye problems ( can you say gross! ) and introduce you to my wish list products.

1. Rituals Eye Defence Eye Lotion - $22.50
This might take care of my flaky dry eyes, and it's not overly expensive.

2. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation - $10.97
I love Revlon foundations, this being a new one from Revlon makes me want to try it, bbloggers have been loving this foundation and that's got my need for it growing.

3. Maybelline 24H Color Tattoo Eyeshadow - $8.99
I've been looking to get a white eyeshadow to use as a eyelid base for my eyeshadow for a long time, thinking about it last night, I decided to get this because it has built in primer, so I'm killing two birds with one stone.

4. Jouer Matte Moisture Tint - $ 40.34
I've been looking for a good tinted moisturizer for some time and after reading Vivannadoesmakeup, and hearing her rave about this, I decided to feature it on my exclusive wish list heheh

5. Lierac Paris High Peel - $ 60.00
PH balanced peels are seriously my favorite, they truly change the appearance of your skin, I'm obsessed with them. I know this one costs an arm and a leg, but it'll last you forever, since you don't use it everyday.

6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder - $ 45.00
Quite a lot for a lighting powder, but to be honest it's totally worth it, lighting powder changes how your makeup looks quite a bit if used right. I've been hearing bbloggers go on and on about this powder.

7. Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Moisturizer - $ 49.00
Another product way out of my budget, origins has been a skincare line I've wanted to try for awhile, and hearing how amazing their moisturizers are, doesn't help either.

8. Antipodes Joyous Protein Rich Replenish Night Cream - $ 48.00
Who doesn't need a miracle night cream right!

9. Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Cream - $12.67
I need a drugstore eye cream to moisturize and take care of that flaky skin around my eyes, seriously, I think it's snowed when I finished rubbing my eyes that how nasty and flaky the skin is. It's disgusting, don't judge me. So I googled it and this was the closest thing I could find that would take care of my flaky eyeballs hahaha oh god that sounds nasty.

10. Ahava Time to Hydrate Gentle Eye Cream - $ 32.00
Yes another eye cream, like I said, I'm on a eye cream binge due to my diseased eyes. I can't even put eyeshadow on :(

WISH LIST - Lashes of London

Lashes of London

1 - Pilosa Oversized Sequin Dress

I love this oversized dress, it looks comfy and so easy to wear, I would wear this in the summer or maybe in the winter with a pair of leggings

2 - Sundae Sequin Mini Dress

Super stylish and cute. I love the back cut out on this dress and the sundae pattern is so unique and different, I love it. I would wear this out for a fancy dinner or to a party.

3 - Darcy Peplum Jacquard Skirt

These skirts are super popular and in right now, ever since I spotted Kim Kardashian sporting one, I needed to own one of my own. The bow on the front adds a nice little touch

4 - Harper Sequin Biker Jacket

Love the form of this jacket, I been all over the whole blazer style for a bit now, but could never found one that fits me right, this jacket is a step up from a blazer and look like my kind of style, another must have for my clothing rack.

5 - Ramona Embellished Dress

I love the detail on the shoulders of this dress, it looks form fitting which is another thumbs up for me. I've seen these type of dress on the runway and I have been dieing to own one ever since.

6 - Carson Snake Skin Leggings

Leggings are super popular, because their comfy, and show off your curves. Snake skin leggings add a little bit of texture and pattern to the ordinary, average leggings. I would totally pair these with a oversized sweater or the pilosa oversized sequin dress.

7 - Palms Belted Playsuit

I love this playsuit, the pattern is so pretty and it just screams summer, I don't think I'd take this bad boy off all summer, it looks so easy and comfy to wear.

Lashes of London is having a contest, asking you to create a collage of items from their unique clothing store. So I pieced together some of my favorite items that would make my clothing collection unique and different, maybe even freshen it up a bit, since it's getting a bit drab.

WISH LIST

Ardell Fake Lashes

I never use to wear fake eyelashes, but after wearing them just once, I can not stop wearing them. A lot of beauty blogger wear Ardell lashes and I've been meaning to go out and grab a pair. I want to try the demi wispies because they look super natural and pretty....... and alot or women love them.

Origins Skincare

I've heard tons about the Origins products and bloggers everywhere are ranting and raving about how great these products are and how good they work.

Nivea Lip Butter

Nivea just came out with a rather nice lip butter, and I'm pretty anal about my lips, there so dry and I find chap stick really doesn't do all the much in the long cold winter months.

Too Faced 3 Way Lash Liner

I seen how perfect this liquid eyeliner makes a wing, that I couldn't help but want it. I'm getting rather sick of my liquid eyeliner and am moving onto bigger and better things, and I think this might just fill in the spot.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Have been seeing a lot of girls wearing these lately and I'm itching to give them a try. They're a cross between lip stain and a lip balm.

Clarins Makeup Remover

I heard this makeup remover is better then bioderma, so it  must be really good. Bioderma was rated number 1 makeup remover but I'm anxious to try this one. I hope it's a bit cheaper then bioderma because its a bit more money then I'd like to pay for a makeup remover.

Lucas Papaw Ointment

Since the winter takes a tole on my already dry skin, I'm always looking for a different cream that will help relieve my dry patches and help with rashes my super sensitive skin seems to develop. This ointment helps with all of that. It has the texture of Vaseline but instead of sitting on the surface it penetrates immediately for instant relief.

WISH LIST - Some products I'm craving to try.

This week I wanted to showcase some really popular products as well as some brand new ones.

Bioderma Crealine H20 Solution

I have been hearing so many ladies rave about this makeup remover. I don't know if they don't sell it in Canada or what but I haven't seen this in stores in Canada anywhere, so I'll have to stick with getting it online

Xen Tan Sunless Tanning lotion

One of my favorite beauty bloggers ( viviannadoesmakeup ) raves about this self tanner. I've tried a couple self tanners before in my days and I hated them. Maybe I'll give this a try. My winter skin is looking way to pasty

Rimmel Apocalips

These creamy lipglosses are a mix between lipgloss and lipstick. A lot bloggers have been comparing them to high-end lip products. The colors are super pigmented and moisturize your lips all day long. I can not wait to get my hands on these. They haven't launched yet

Essie Nude Spring Nail Polish collection

I just seen the spring collection for Essie and I literally twitched, the colors are so nude and pretty, I wanted to buy every single shade there.

Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair

I have heard so many people rave about this and if I wasn't broke 24/7 I would run out and snatch it up. I truly need some good nigh repair serum. I think this would do wonders on my skin, although it's an older product I hear older women saying how much they loved it and still use it years down the road. It's to bad its cost an arm and a leg to purchase.

Urban Decay Basics

I know what your thinking, seriously this palette is a new one from urban decay, besides the size of the palette a lot of the colors come from either of there popular palettes Naked and Naked 2. I think if you already own the first one or the second one........or even both what's the sense in buying this one, but then again why not have all three right?! I like this one because it small and you can take it in your purse with you.

THE WISH LIST - Mascara aglore!

This week I wanted to list some of the mascara I've been drooling over lately. I usually only use one mascara and never switch because I'm so comfortable with the mascara I use I never needed to change but lately I've decided to venture out and trying some different mascaras.

First on my wish list of mascaras is none other then the beautiful bold givenchy.

Givenchy NOIR Couture 4 N 1 Mascara

Givenchy NOIR Couture 4 N 1 Mascara - I've been hearing tons of girls raving about how good this mascara is, it's a multi tasker and  makes your lashes longer,  more intense volume, stronger curl, and gives complete lash care, without them getting clumpy and sticking together. I've been dieing to get my hands on a tube of this stuff, seems that is pretty popular and its sold out on Amazon which brought a tear to my eye.

Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara Volume Length Curl Separation Mascara

Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara Volume Length Curl Separation Mascara- Chanel has a pretty good mascara out right now. It's suppose to define lashes and sperarte them so there not sticking together, something that always happens to me and it gets very annoying. This mascara is more about length then volume so if thats something your looking for this would be a great mascara.

Benefit They're Real

Benefit They're Real- I adore this mascara it is one of my favorites! I have tried this mascara before when it first came out and I was so impressed in how thick and long my lashes looked, they actually looked like I was wearing fake lashes hahaha great name for the mascara. Lately I haven't been able to afford this mascara so instead I just google pictures of it and pout hahahha The thing with this mascara is it does clump just a bit but I can totally get over it because I love it way to much to give it up.

Diorshow Mascara

Diorshow Mascara - Another favoite is good ole Dior, I little while back a lady behind the beauty counter at shopper drugmart threw a little sample tube of this mascara in my bag. I tired it and feel in love with it. It makes your lashes look lengths long. I found it to be a lot like the benefit mascara and would def buy this mascara.

THE WISH LIST - Real Techniques Brushes

 real Techniques Powder Brush

Lately I've been on the search for some makeup brushes that won't cost me a arm and a leg, but have great quality. I've bought really cheap makeup brushes before and let me tell you not a wise choice, they don't blend as well, they can irritate your skin, depending on what the material is made of, and they always lose little hairs which stick to my face and are very hard to pick off a freshly primed and foundation face. It's just annoying, so I got fed up and began a nation wide makeup brush search.
 real Techniques Starter Set
After a little research and some YouTube videos I think I found the holy grail of makeup brushes and it's known as..........

Real Techniques are very unique brushes they're high quality brushes with a low price. They sell in kits or you can buy them separately. The base of the brushes have three different colors, depending on what type of brush your buying.

Orange handled brushes are used to get a flawless base, pink handled brushes are for a perfect finish and the Purple handled brushes are used to enhance the eyes. This is a brilliant way to remember the use for your brushes.

The material that the brush tips are made from is called taklon and they use it because it gives a high definition look.

The neck of the brush is made from aluminium not wood and the bottom is nice and flat so they stand on there own.

Brushes range from $ 6.00 for a single brush to $18.00 for a set of them.

I really can't wait get my hands on some of these brushes, they'll for sure be my next makeup purchase heheheh

Hope I helped find you guys a high quality item for a great quality price

The WISH LIST - My Must have Fall 2012 Makeup Palettes

I wanted to start doing a new piece that I'm going to be posting every weekend on Sunday, it's going to be called The Wish List and I'll tell you a bit about it

Over the past month or so I've been adding products to my Amazon wish list, everything from lipstick to concealer and in between and I decided to post some of my favorites from each category.
I have gathered information from a lot of different makeup professionals on specktra.net and they have helped me find some amazing products that I'd love to share with all my makeup geeks out there. The images and Prices featured below are from Amazon.com.

So, with further or due I intoduce to you my top must have fall makeup palettes.

1. One of the must have fall makeup palettes is Urban Decay Naked, featuring really pretty neutral shades great for fall and all year around. There palettes have great pigmentation and have amazing quality, which means a higer payout for you. This palette contains 12 gorgeous colors and also comes with a pro-quality brush. Although the price is a bit steep I think it's totally worth buying makeup that's more costly for better quality, which usually equals a higher payout, in some cases.

$50.00

2. The second must have fall makeup palette is non other then Urban Decay Naked 2, very similar to Urban Decay Naked but featuring more taupe and greige neutrals then the first making, Naked 2. It was also the  most anticipated sequel to Naked collection and I anticipate there will be lots more to come.

$50.00

Stila Ultimate Color Palette 66Pc

3. Ok I  promise this one isn't a Urban Decay palette hehehe. This really convenient and pretty 66pc palette is from Stila, a well known cosmetic company. It features 39 soft eyeshadows, 15 lip shades, 4 cheek colors, 4 lip brushes and 4 applicators, so your getting a lot of bang for you buck here ( I love saying that ) I'm not sure how much I would like the lip colors because I am really picky when it comes to lipsticks but the eyeshadows come in a variety of different shades and look shimmery and fun. You could create mutiple fall looks with just this one palette.

$25.97

4.  MAC Viva Glam 20 features 20 creamy, metallic, colors just waiting to be played with. This palette seems to be a hot seller on the market and every time I try to purchase it from somewhere it seems to always be sold out. This is a older palette from MAC first coming out in 2011 featuring Lady Gaga as their collection "Viva Glam" spokesperson.

$29.99

5. This fall I seem to be obsessed with purple shadows, I don't know why but here's a real showstopper from Bobbi Brown, called Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight Eye Palette, it is a limited edition which makes it even more important to run out and purchase.  Featuring 8 colors which give you everything you need to create a fabulous fall look. One light shade to use for a base, 6 shadows in medium shades for your lid and crease and a dark shade to use as a liner! Also includes a double sided brush- one for shadows and another for liner. I'm in love with this Bobbi Brown compact palette with a lovely metalized finish! Only thing is the price is like a stab to the heart.

$82.50

Complement Palette

6. Coming in at 6th is a newly discover foursome of perfect and pretty purple ( my new fall 2012 obsessive color ) shades is, Illamasqua Complement Palette, featuring 4 romantic purple shades, perfect for creating a soft purple fall eye. These shadows are highly pigmented and combine shimmer and matte shades to create a soft metallic look. These are a must have if your looking for some shadows with high payoff.

$45.00
